We collect data to: verify users, prevent fraud and scams, improve platform trust, process utility purchases, facilitate property transactions, provide customer support, comply with Zimbabwean law, and improve our services.

4. Verification & Trust

OneMusondosi uses verification systems to improve community safety. Verification may include: OTP verification, identity checks, landlord verification, property verification, and ratings and reviews.

Verification badges do not constitute legal guarantees but help improve transparency and trust.

5. How We Use Your Information

Your information may be used to: create and manage accounts, process transactions, connect tenants and landlords, send notifications, detect suspicious activity, manage disputes, improve system performance, and generate anonymous safety alerts.

6. Data Sharing

OneMusondosi does not sell personal information. Information may be shared: with payment processors, utility service providers, verification partners, law enforcement where legally required, and between transaction parties after mutual acceptance.

Public-facing safety alerts will never intentionally expose sensitive personal information without review.

7. WhatsApp & Communication

By using OneMusondosi through WhatsApp, users consent to: receiving transactional messages, OTP verification, notifications, support communication, and safety alerts (where subscribed). Users may opt out of non-essential notifications.

8. Utility Purchases

Utility purchases are processed through approved payment and vending partners. OneMusondosi stores meter history, receipts, transaction references, and payment confirmations. Sensitive financial data such as mobile money PINs and bank card numbers are never stored by OneMusondosi.

9. Data Security

OneMusondosi uses reasonable security measures including: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed PINs/passwords (bcrypt), restricted admin access, audit logs, and secure cloud storage. However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.

OneMusondosi retains information only as reasonably necessary. Transaction logs are kept for accounting and compliance. Safety reports are retained for investigations. 11. Your Rights

Under Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act 2021, users may request: access to their data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion (subject to legal requirements), and withdrawal of consent where applicable. Contact: support@musondosi.online

12. Safety Reporting

Users may submit scam reports, unsafe property reports, fraud alerts, and neighbourhood safety concerns. Reports are reviewed privately. Personal details of accused parties are never published publicly. False or malicious reporting may result in account suspension.

13. Children & Minors

OneMusondosi is intended for users aged 18 and over who are legally capable of entering transactions. Minors must not use the platform without guardian involvement.

14. Changes to This Policy

OneMusondosi may update this policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of changes. Material changes will be notified via WhatsApp.
